One Paper Crane is a musical collective that comprises singer-songwriters, musicians, and friends who love live performance and playing together. We have an intense and rare chemistry that creates compelling performances where we make every song our own.

Our name originates from the ancient Japanese belief that anyone who folds a thousand paper cranes will be granted his or her wish or dream. To fold a thousand paper cranes, you can only fold one at a time. For us, that means we try to focus on and to be present to the one thing we are doing at the moment- each song, each performance, and each recording.
